colors, stems, city

Long time no update! Dusting off the cobwebs off my little corner of the internets. Big photo heap ahead

While in Anaheim for a work conference, stopped by Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center. Felt lucky to catch an exhibit titled Common Ground, which were murals painted directly on the museum walls, meant only to last for as long as the show. It’s wild thinking about how these are now painted over (the show ended in March)

Mission District SF Mural Tour

On the note of murals, went on a SF City Guides walk (one of my favorite things to do in SF!) and learned much about the neighborhood I’ve called home for over a decade. Highly recommend any of their walks. I’ve done the Mission Murals twice and they were both completely different experiences which I love.

Learning Ikebana

I also started taking Ikebana classes. I’m quite a beginner but inspired to work toward a certification down the road. Big love for Forsythias, Freesias and of course Cherry Blossoms. I love the ephemeral beauty and connection to the season ikebana has brought to our household

Museum of the City of New York

This model of NYC was 21 years in the making! My photo only captures a small part of the model but of course I was fixated with lower Manhattan, trying to find my home and all the spots that encompass my little world. Very impressed with Joe Macken’s work

Ending with these snapshots from San Francisco in March. Hope you are having a wonderful spring
