sailing on the hudson
Summer slipped by so fast.
East coast summers are still novel to me- I love coney island hot dogs, coastal towns and actual hot weather (me, coming from a place that called August Fogust) though much of this summer was running from thunder storms, (i’m still getting used to those popping up so frequently)
What i’ve been up to
Getting out sailing as much as I can!
For art projects: This months loish theme was feet. (can we just appreciate what an amazing patreon she has!) It was nice getting out of my comfort zone on a subject I typically avoid.
Sewing Projects!
After dragging my feet for months, I finally plugged my sewing machine in. I’m a fan of Brittany Jones which led me to sew it academy. And look, i made a thing! I’m more inspired and ready to get the ball rolling on more projects. Wish me luck
I also got such a kick out of seeing my NYC foods and Gilmore Girls patterns on fabric mockups (via spoonflower). im still awaiting the fabrics to arrive but i’m very excited with all the possibilities.
Other fun stuff: made this statue of liberty post card (also a Loish homework) and made these noodles in ‘my style’ via Flo’s creative labs
